self-expression.

OPA’s
objectives in the arts:
1)
Circus Arts
- Skill building, empowerment, increase of self-esteem,
body awareness and strengthening to youth and adults
through aerial arts, stilt walking, acrobatics, juggling
and clowning. |

2)
Folkloric Traditions
- To rescue folkloric traditions and pass them on to younger
generations in order to strengthen and unite communities,
to empower elders and celebrate life.
3) Performing Arts
- To pass on information along with visual stimulation,
performing educational material accessible to all. |

Music
- To encourage and support musical groups and musicians
in low-income communities and educate through music.
5) Visual Arts
- To support creative endeavors, challenging and sharpening
the mind through the creative process of building giant
puppets, sculptures, paintings and urban murals with
social and environmental themes.
6) Craft making
- To value, learn and teach local crafts.
